Before expanding TEDxKingstonUponThames to the Rose Theatre Kingston where we have held all our events since 2018, we organised four smaller events.

Our very first event was held at Kingston University on 5th November 2016.  A day of talks in front of 100 people, this was the event we used to prove to TEDx that we could organise an event, source speakers and find an audience for TEDx talks in Kingston.

Following the success of this event, we organised three salon events with up to 100 people at each one.

These salon events were held throughout 2017 at different venues around Kingston; Raven’s Ait, The Cornerhouse Theatre and Kingston Quaker Centre.
